DESCRIPTION:The Wildness on our Doorstep: Talla-Hartfell and Scotland’s Wild Land Areas\nThis free event is being organised by the Southern Uplands Partnership (external link will open in a new browser tab or window) as part of its Talla-Hartfell Wild Land Area project\, which for the past couple of years has been focusing on land use and economic status of an area roughly demarcated by Moffat north to Stanhope\, then southeast to The Gordon Arms\, then south to Ettrick and west back to Moffat. At the heart of this area is the NatureScot Talla-Hartfell Wild Land Area. \nSimon Brooks\, Strategic Planning Manager for NatureScot (previously known as Scottish Natural Heritage)\, is giving the talk.
