Microgrants
Tweedsmuir Community Council administers a range of small grants on behalf of the Clyde Borders and Nadara Glenkerie Community Benefit Funds. These grants are intended to support local people, community groups and young people with projects and activities that benefit the Tweedsmuir community.

Community Council Microgrants
Microgrants provide small amounts of funding to help individuals, informal groups and community organisations undertake projects that benefit the Tweedsmuir community. Applications are considered by Tweedsmuir Community Council and are normally discussed at Community Council meetings. Successful applicants are asked to provide a short report once their project has been completed.

The microgrant scheme operates in the same way for both community benefit funds. Separate application forms are used for administrative purposes, so please contact the Community Council if you aren’t sure which to use.
Youth Bursaries
Youth bursaries help young people aged under 18 who live in Tweedsmuir take part in educational, sporting, artistic and personal development opportunities that they might otherwise be unable to access. The scheme is funded through the SSE Clyde Borders Community Benefit Fund.
